We are currently seeking applications from experienced HD Fitters with experience working on Diggers & Drills for upcoming opportunities.

Work Location: Opportunities are FIFO from Perth, Busselton, Karratha, Port Hedland, Fitzroy Crossing or Kununurra to our Pilbara WA mine sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance and repairs on large-scale drilling equipment.
  • Maintain machinery in accordance with the OEM specifications and Fortescue’s procedures.
  • Monitor and identify the need for maintenance consumables and supplies to ensure continuous drilling operations.
  • Actively participate in toolbox and safety meetings, promoting a safe work environment and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Operate and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment to meet company standards.
  • Follow SAP/Fortescue work management processes.
  • Contribute to improvement initiatives that enhance drilling fleet performance.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate - Heavy Diesel Fitting.
  • Previous experience working on Drilling Equipment in a mining environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety.
  • Strong ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Familiarity with OEM diagnostic tools.
  • Competent in Microsoft programs.
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence.
