Job Description

NOV is actively recruiting Drill Bit Repair Technicians for our location in Casper, WY, to perform service on products associated with job/tool assignment while following procedures provided by the NOV Service Quality Team.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Assist in basic production requirements, including operation of off-hand die grinders, blast equipment, and general bit movement.
2. Gain initial understanding of repair processes to assist more senior operators as needed.
3. Operate pressure washer to clean bits, breakers, and boxes from field locations.
4. Operate the OD Grinder and/or centerless grinder as necessary.
5. Apply proper painting schemes for completed bits, including inspection of nozzle geometries to ensure proper fit.
6. Complete all applicable paperwork responsibly.
7. Apply dye-pen on products as required.
8. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

1. High School Diploma or GED required.
2. Adhere to HSE requirements.
3. Working hours as identified by the manager.
4. Ability to lift 50 lbs and 15 lbs at least 25 times repeatedly preferred.
5. Proficient communication skills in English.
