Job summary

Nordstrom in Paramus, NJ is seeking a dedicated Designated Selling Associate to engage customers one-on-one, educate on brand trends, and drive sales through excellent service and knowledge of products.

You will build relationships, participate in events, stock and merchandising tasks, and collaborate with stylists and colleagues to keep the selling floor ready. Flexibility to work varied shifts is required; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with customers and cultivate relationships.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings and trainings to build product knowledge and expertise.
• Drive sales through appointment-based selling during events and non-event timeframes.
• Keep department ready: stocking, merchandising, displays, markdowns, transfers and cleaning.
