Job summary

Mountaire in North Carolina is seeking a dependable CDL Class A driver to transport fresh and frozen poultry to storage yards, cold storage facilities, or designated customers. This role requires a valid CDL Class A license, 3 years of active experience, the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and strict adherence to DOT rules and company SOPs.

You will perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and report any vehicle or delivery issues to the Dispatcher.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of active CDL Class A experience.
• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Must meet all DOT requirements.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

• Transport fresh/frozen poultry to storage yards, cold storage facilities or designated customers.
• Unload product from trucks as needed.
• Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to maintain working operations.
• Report vehicle or delivery issues to the Dispatcher.
• Follow all company safety policies, standard operating procedure (SOP) regulations, as well as support the Goal Zero mission statement.
