Job summary

Mountaire is seeking a CDL Class A truck driver to transport fresh and frozen poultry to storage yards, cold storage facilities, and designated customers from the Lumber Bridge, NC area. You will perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and unload as needed, ensuring on-time deliveries and compliance with DOT rules.

Responsibilities include reporting issues to the Dispatcher, adhering to SOPs and safety policies, and supporting Mountaire's Goal Zero safety initiative across all routes.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• 3 years of active CDL Class A experience.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
• Must meet all DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Transport fresh/frozen poultry to storage yards, cold storage facilities or designated customers.
• Unload product from trucks as needed.
• Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to maintain working operations.
• Report vehicle or delivery issues to the Dispatcher.
• Follow all company safety policies, SOP regulations, and support the Goal Zero mission statement.
