Dexian seeks a Cost Estimator to develop accurate cost estimates for large dredging projects and to support onsite project managers. The role offers exposure to senior management and a hybrid work schedule, four days in the office and one remote day.

Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 3–5 years in dredging or cost estimating, plus strong Excel/Office skills and willingness to travel occasionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or equivalent combined with relevant work experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in dredging or cost estimating in a comparable industry.
• Experience with marine construction projects or dredging equipment is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard Office Suite programs.

Responsabilités

• Produce precise cost estimates for large-scale bidding projects.
• Review and extract key details from project plans and specifications.
• Create clear and concise overview drawings for presentations and discussions.
• Present project estimates during bid review sessions with senior management.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills during estimate development.
• Collaborate effectively with support departments within a team environment.
• Manage multiple project tasks efficiently, prioritizing effectively.
• Provide estimating support to on-site Project Managers during project execution.
• Continuously monitor and update project costs, production metrics, and budgets throughout construction.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
