Job summary

AB InBev in Leuven, Belgium, seeks a mid-senior Engineer to lead keg and draught packaging platforms from concept to industrial deployment. You’ll drive new keg concepts, validate packaging solutions, and optimize interfaces between packaging, filling equipment and dispense systems.

The role blends innovation and rigorous validation, with travel to breweries and suppliers across Europe. A mechanical engineering degree and 5+ years in keg packaging are required, along with English proficiency and

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Packaging, Materials, Chemical Eng or related.
5+ years in keg systems, draught packaging or beverage container tech.
Experience with filling, dispensing or packaging equipment in manufacturing.
Fluency in English.
Travel to breweries including Dommelen (NL) and other sites will be needed.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of keg and draught packaging platforms from concept to industrial deployment.
Validate new packaging solutions, suppliers and manufacturing processes before global implementation.
Design and optimize interfaces between packaging, filling equipment and dispense systems.
Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams across Packaging, Brewing and Quality.
Support brewery trials and scale up packaging technologies globally.
