Job summary

Central Point School District 6 at Crater High School is seeking a Drama Assistant/Production to support auditions, rehearsals and performances, while maintaining the drama website and social media presence.

You will assist with ticketing, coordinate press releases with the Director, and help produce newsletters for families, fostering a positive environment for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Attends and helps supervise auditions, rehearsals, and performances.
• Regularly updates Crater Drama Website and Social Media Pages.
• Assists in updating the ticketing system and designs tickets.
• Coordinates with Director for press releases and ad space for playbills.
• Provides customer service experience.
• Creates parent newsletters for production updates and coordinates parent involvement.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to smooth production operations and student guidance.
• Support publicity efforts including social media and press coordination.
• Assist with ticketing and design for events.
• Collaborate with director/admin to publish newsletters to families.
• Maintain a positive, professional demeanor with students and staff.

Preferred Qualifications

• Attends and helps supervise each audition/rehearsal/performance for the given play production.

• Coordinates with Director for press releases and arranges advertisement space that is sold for each playbill
• Provides customer Service Experience
• Creates parent newsletters for production updates and coordinates parent involvement
• Ability to work with and guide students in a friendly and professional manner
• Ability to learn to use the Sales platform In-Touch
• Ability to learn to use the digital ticketing platform Arts-People
• Ability to learn to use either the Graphic Design Program Adobe Photoshop or Canva
• Uses and effectively interacts with Social Media in a professional manner
