Job summary

Lone Star College-CyFair is seeking an adjunct Drama faculty member to teach courses across multiple times and locations. You will develop engaging lessons, use the course syllabus, and support student learning to achieve course objectives.

This part-time role offers day, evening, and weekend classes, with a maximum of five courses per academic year. A MA/MFA in Drama is required, with strong communication and collaborative skills emphasized.

Qualifications

• MA or MFA degree in Drama, or a Master's with 18 graduate hours in Drama.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and support diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Teaches Drama courses at various times and locations.
• Creates engaging lessons that promote student involvement.
• Submits required college reports and forms in a timely manner.
• Follows course syllabi and institutional guidelines.
• Meet with and advise students before/after class or by appointment.
• Evaluate student progress and communicate outcomes.
