Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate engineering analysis, automation, troubleshooting, and documentation while applying sound engineering judgment, human validation, and data security practices.
  • Experience developing, implementing, configuring, and fixing issues with enterprise security technologies and controls.
  • Hands-on expertise supporting endpoint, firewall, proxy, and other enterprise security solutions.
  • Skilled in security research, threat analysis, and the design of effective security architectures and solutions.
  • Proven ability to develop requirements, arguments, technical builds, and implementation plans for security initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Product Bring Up and Qualification: Support DRAM product bring up activities from first silicon through qualification. Implement electrical characterization and validation to ensure compliance with product specifications.
  • Yield Analysis and Improvement: Monitor yield performance and identify systematic and random yield limiters; drive root cause and corrective actions.
  • Failure Analysis and Debug: Support failure analysis to identify defects impacting quality and reliability; drive corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
  • Manufacturing and Ramp Support: Assist ramp to high volume manufacturing; coordinate with global sites to ensure stable production.
  • Multi-functional Collaboration: Partner with design, process integration, test engineering, and quality teams to optimize product performance and reliability.
  • Data and Documentation: Maintain clear documentation and present findings to stakeholders; drive data-driven decisions.

Micron’s Technology and Products Group (TPG) is seeking a DRAM Product Engineer to support the development, qualification, and high-volume manufacturing ramp of DRAM products. This role sits at the intersection of design, process, manufacturing, and quality, ensuring products meet performance, yield, reliability, and cost targets throughout the product lifecycle.

The DRAM Product Engineer will use Artificial Intelligence to support product bring up, yield learning, electrical characterization, and failure analysis. They will work with global multi-functional teams to ensure product readiness and sustained manufacturing performance.

Responsibilities
  • Product Bring Up and Qualification: Support DRAM product bring up activities from first silicon through qualification. Implement electrical characterization and validation to ensure compliance with product specifications. Analyze parametric data and identify design or process sensitivities.

  • Yield Analysis and Improvement: Monitor yield performance and identify systematic and random yield limiters. Apply data analysis techniques to drive root cause identification and corrective actions. Partner with process integration and fab teams to improve yield and reduce variability.

  • Failure Analysis and Debug: Support failure analysis activities to identify defects impacting product quality and reliability. Correlate test, fab, and design data to isolate failure mechanisms. Drive corrective actions with design, process, and quality teams.

  • Manufacturing and Ramp Support: Support product ramp to high volume manufacturing. Work closely with global manufacturing sites to ensure stable production performance. Identify and mitigate risks impacting output, cycle time, and cost.

  • Multi-functional Collaboration: Partner with design engineering for product debug and optimization. Process integration for defect and variability reduction. Test engineering for coverage, limits, and screening strategies. Quality and reliability teams for product qualification.Serve as a liaison between Product and Security Teams.

  • Data and Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of analysis, findings, and engineering decisions. Present technical updates and recommendations to team members and stakeholders. Drive data driven decisions using large datasets from fab, test, and product systems.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate engineering analysis, automation, troubleshooting, and documentation while applying sound engineering judgment, human validation, and data security practices.

  • Experience developing, implementing, configuring, and fixing issues with enterprise security technologies and controls.

  • Hands-on expertise supporting endpoint, firewall, proxy, and other enterprise security solutions.

  • Skilled in security research, threat analysis, and the design of effective security architectures and solutions.

  • Proven ability to develop requirements, arguments, technical builds, and implementation plans for security initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing secure systems and firmware with a strong focus on security guidelines.

  • Proven success working in high-tech manufacturing environments.

  • Industry-recognized security certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or equivalent.
