Job summary

SK hynix America invites a Field Application Engineer (DRAM) in San Jose, CA to drive design wins and lifecycle management of DRAM products. You will collaborate with customers, contract manufacturers, and HQ to align product roadmaps, qualification plans, and quality initiatives.

The role requires a strong technical background in DRAM with 3+ years of related experience, excellent communication, and the ability to translate data into actionable customer guidance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field application or semiconductor/memory-related experience.
• Experience with DRAM, memory architecture, and DRAM operation principles.
• Ability to translate data into customer recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and provide solutions for DRAM projects.
• Provide product roadmaps and manage product life cycle.
• Clarify requirements and give feedback to HQ for qualifications.
• Prepare technical specifications and qualification samples.
• Serve as first technical contact and manage design-wins activities.
• Coordinate PCN/ECN and share technical docs with customers.
