Job summary

trilongroup is seeking an experienced Drainage Engineer in Florida to independently apply, plan, design, direct, and implement drainage improvements for DOT and municipal roadway projects. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of drainage experience and the potential to obtain a Florida PE license.

Responsibilities include stormwater management, roadway drainage systems, and related hydraulics, with sign-on bonus eligibility noted.

Qualifications

• At least five years of drainage experience.
• Florida PE License required or eligible to obtain.
• Design, plan, direct drainage projects for DOT and municipal roadway improvements.
• Experience with stormwater management, ditch and pipe drainage, water quality BMPs, streams, bridge hydraulics, culvert hydraulics, watersheds, and erosion and sediment control.

Responsibilities

• Apply, plan, design, and supervise drainage improvements for DOT and municipal road projects.
• Design and evaluate stormwater management systems and drainage structures; coordinate with clients and agencies.

The Drainage Engineer independently applies, plans, designs, directs, organizes, executes, and recommends improvements for Florida DOT and municipal roadway improvement projects. Assignments may include a diverse variety of drainage-related tasks such as stormwater management, roadway pipe drainage systems, roadway ditch drainage systems, water quality BMPs, streams, bridge hydraulics, culvert hydraulics, watersheds, and erosion and sediment control.
