Job summary

Ron the Sewer Rat is seeking a drain technician to diagnose and solve drain backups, and to plan unclogging solutions for mainlines and various drains. You will inspect lines with cameras and operate drain machines, hydro jetters, and sewer cameras to locate issues.

A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift 150+ lbs are required, with a commitment to honest work. This full-time role offers $65,000–$100,000+ per year, a company truck, tools, and a benefits package including 401(k)

Qualifications

• Experience in drain cleaning (minimum 1 year).
• Ability to lift 150+ lbs repeatedly.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• No sales pressure; focus on honest work.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Clear clogged drains and sewer lines.
• Operate drain machines, hydro jetters, and sewer cameras.
• Diagnose drainage problems and fix them properly.
• Perform preventative maintenance on residential and light commercial systems.
• Respond to service calls throughout the Twin Cities.
• Educate customers on preventing future drain issues.
