Job summary

1 Tom Plumber Minneapolis North is seeking a drain technician/service plumber to diagnose, clear, and explain drain issues on-site, and to perform general plumbing repairs in residential and commercial settings.

This full-time role offers hourly pay plus commissions/bonuses based on experience, with a company vehicle and paid fuel. Training, uniforms, PTO, and 401(k) matching are provided after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and clearing drain stoppages in residential/commercial settings.
• Ability to run cable/snake machines and perform hydro-jetting.
• Must communicate pricing options on-site and maintain cleanliness of vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and clear drain stoppages in residential or commercial settings.
• Run cable/snake machines for main/branch line clearing.
• Perform descaling and hydro-jetting for grease, scale, and roots.
• Operate camera inspections to locate problems (or willingness to learn).
• Complete repairs and installs — fixtures, water heaters, faucets, toilets, etc.
• Provide customers with clear diagnoses and pricing options on-site.
• Maintain organized work vehicle and accurate paperwork.
