Job summary

Mr. Rooter Plumbing Sioux Falls is hiring a Drain Cleaning Technician to service residential and commercial drains. You’ll use a range of tools and diagnostic equipment, working on-site to restore normal flow for customers.

Training is provided for the right candidate, with a strong emphasis on safety, record-keeping, and excellent service. The role requires physical ability to work in tight spaces and the ability to operate tablets and scheduling apps.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in drain cleaning is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clear residential and commercial drain lines using snakes, augers, and high-pressure jetting equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot drain issues with video inspection and other diagnostic tools.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining issues, solutions, and preventive options.
• Accurately estimate time, materials, and costs for drain service projects.
• Maintain records of work and materials via tablet or mobile app.
• Follow safety protocols for team and customer property.
• Adhere to all company service procedures and brand standards.
