Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Water Cleanup in Cape Girardeau, MO is hiring a Drain Cleaning and Sewer Technician to join our team. You’ll inspect, diagnose, and clear existing drain and sewer systems using professional equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required for job site travel and client visits.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred for baseline qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect residential and commercial drain and sewer lines to identify issues.
• Clear clogged drains using professional drain cleaning equipment.
• Operate drain snakes, sewer cameras, hydro jetting equipment and other tools.
• Explain findings and recommended solutions to customers professionally.
• Complete drain maintenance, cleaning and minor repairs as needed.
• Accurately document completed work and service recommendations.

What You'll Do

As a Drain Cleaning and Sewer Technician, you'll help customers resolve drainage issues while developing your expertise in residential and commercial plumbing systems.

Responsibilities include:

• Inspect residential and commercial drain and sewer lines to identify problems

• Clear clogged drains using professional drain cleaning equipment

• Operate drain snakes, sewer cameras, hydro jetting equipment, and other specialized tools as trained

• Explain findings and recommended solutions to customers in a professional manner

• Complete drain maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs

• Accurately document completed work and service recommendations

• Maintain company equipment and vehicles

• Deliver exceptional customer service on every job

• Continue building your plumbing and drainage knowledge through field training and ongoing education
