Job summary

Champion AC and Plumbing in Austin is seeking a Drain Advisor to guide customers on drain and sewer solutions, offer tailored recommendations, and drive service sales. You’ll build relationships, provide consultative advice, and help customers solve drainage issues with confidence.

You’ll diagnose problems, present options, deliver accurate estimates, and coordinate with operations to ensure timely service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in drain cleaning, plumbing, or HVAC industries preferred.
• Strong knowledge of drain systems, plumbing tools, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Proven experience in sales or customer-facing roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to diagnose and solve problems efficiently and effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform drain cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting for residential and commercial properties.
• Diagnose plumbing issues related to drains and recommend appropriate solutions or services.
• Present and sell drain cleaning products, services, and maintenance packages to customers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients to drive repeat business.
• Provide accurate estimates for services and products, and follow through with sales from initial inquiry to completion.
• Educate customers on preventive maintenance and care for their drainage systems.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and completed services.
• Collaborate with the operations and service teams to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and solutions in drain cleaning and plumbing.
