Job Summary

A construction is seeking a dragline operator for our aggregate operations in Garland, Pennsylvania. Previous experience preferred.

Main Responsibilities
  • Promote safe work practices and an excellent safety culture
  • Responsible for safe and efficient operation of a dragline
  • Complete daily inspection and checklist
  • Participate in safety huddles daily
  • Responsible to follow all onsite MSHA and environmental requirements and guidelines
  • Perform routine maintenance and any necessary dragline repairs as needed
  • Responsible for reporting incidents and accidents to supervisors
  • Responsible to inform plant superintendent or supervisors of any potential safety hazards
Skills
  • Knowledge and skills to operate a dragline safely and efficiently
  • Communication skills
  • Mechanical skills to perform routine maintenance and repairs
Physical Requirements
  • Able to work in various outdoor weather conditions
  • Able to stand, walk, sit, enter and exit large equipment
  • Able to use arms, hands, and fingers
  • Able to lift and handle objects
