Job summary

North American Mining, LLC is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Dragline Welder/Mechanic to perform maintenance, welding, and mechanical repairs on draglines and other heavy mining equipment.

The ideal candidate will perform inspections, read manuals and blueprints, and be capable of welding, fabrication, and equipment operation while adhering to safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Prior dragline maintenance experience preferred.
• Five years of verifiable heavy equipment maintenance experience preferred.
• Certification in welding or related trade preferred.
• Clean MVR and ability to obtain/maintain a CDL.
• Fluency in English preferred; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspections and report data.
• Read equipment parts books, manuals, and blueprints.
• Weld and fabricate parts; locate cracks and repair.
• Operate boom trucks, welding trucks, and forklifts.
• Follow safety and environmental regulations.
