Job summary

Tri-Fab, a division of The Hannon Company, is seeking a Draftsman/CAD Designer with 2–7 years of CAD experience using SolidWorks/Inventor and AutoCAD. All projects are customized to customer specifications.

You will produce drawings from scratch, create 3D models, generate shop drawings, revise designs as needed, and compile BOMs. Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving, and clear communication with customers and shop staff are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience producing drawings from scratch or updating existing drawings.
• Ability to create 3D models for customer projects.
• Produce shop drawings and generate BOMs.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Candidates should have experience:

• Producing drawings from scratch or implementing updates on existing drawings
• Creating 3D models for customer projects
• Producing shop drawings
• Revising models and drawings as needed
• Generating BOM for projects

Skills and Qualifications include:

• Proficent in SolidWorks/Inventor and AutoCad
• Proficent in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Highly detailed oriented
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Must be able to handle many projects at once
• Strong communications skills, must be able to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and shop employees.
• Self-motivated with strong work ethic
