Bloom Engineering, a Wabtec Company, is seeking a Drafting Intern to support design engineering in developing and documenting custom industrial combustion equipment. You will gain hands-on experience applying drafting and CAD principles in an engineered-for-order environment.
You will create and revise 2D drawings and 3D models, learn Bloom drafting standards, and collaborate across engineers, drafters, and manufacturing teams.

As a Drafting Intern , you will work closely with Bloom's Design Engineering team and other professionals to support the development and documentation of custom industrial combustion equipment. You will gain hands‑on experience applying drafting and CAD principles in an engineered‑to‑order manufacturing environment.
In this role, you will help translate engineering concepts and designs into accurate drawings and documentation used to manufacture and assemble Bloom equipment. You will gain practical experience with real‑world engineering projects while learning how drawings move from design through manufacturing and ultimately into equipment operating at customer facilities.
