Job summary

Race Rock Group seeks a Drafting Checker to support manufacturing of structural and infrastructure products. You will ensure deadlines, accuracy, and quality align with engineering designs, internal standards, and customer specs, while applying AWS welding symbols and standard drafting practices.

The role requires strong attention to detail, math skills, and effective cross-functional communication, with remote work available as approved by the Drafting Manager.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or certificate in Structural or Mechanical Drafting or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Structural or Mechanical Drafter.
• 3+ years’ experience checking other Drafters’ work.

Responsibilities

• Review customer documentation and discuss discrepancies.
• Check drafting project files for completeness and conformance to standards.
• Follow the checking process and document corrections.
• Guide Drafters to reduce errors.
• Ensure CAD files are properly constructed and milestones recorded.
• Perform final checks before release of projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
