You will translate design concepts into detailed shop drawings and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure manufacturability and quality.

The role involves supporting design changes, maintaining drawing libraries, and upholding a safety-first environment, with attention to standards and documentation across the project teams.

Qualifications

• 2D and 3D CAD drafting knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with BOM creation and revision control.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings for windows, doors, and skylights using CAD software.
• Translate engineering specifications into detailed shop and fabrication drawings.
• Apply company and industry drafting standards to all documentation.
• Support design revisions and maintain up-to-date drawing records.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to resolve drawing or design issues.
• Prepare and update Bills of Materials and related documentation.
• Ensure drawings support manufacturability, installation, and quality requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of drafting processes and standards.
