Summit Utilities, Inc. is seeking a Drafter I (SGL4) to join our hybrid team in Fort Smith or Little Rock, Arkansas. This role supports field operations by performing drafting duties for gas pipeline projects and collaborating across departments.

The ideal candidate has a Vo-Tech or CAD/GIS/Drafting certificate (or 60 college credits) and shows proficiency with ArcGIS and AutoCAD, with a strong eye for detail and data accuracy. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires a Vo-Tech/CAD/GIS/Drafting certificate or 60 credit hours in a related field from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic level drafting assignments supporting Engineering, Operations, and Construction teams.
• Provides basic support to optimize productivity and mapping accuracy.
• Assists QA/QC to ensure CAD/GIS standards in drafting and posting construction plans.
• Organizes and maintains as-built records for field installations.
• Collaborates with GIS, Pipeline Safety, Operations, Construction, Business Development, Legal, Plant Accounting.
