Saber Power Services in Alexandria, LA is seeking a Drafter I to support engineering teams with CAD drawings, bills of material, and shop plans. The role requires basic CAD knowledge and a commitment to learning within high-voltage electrical project workflows.

You will read specifications, coordinate with engineers, and ensure drawings meet standards and project requirements. On-site collaboration in our Alexandria office is required.

Responsabilidades

• Create shop drawings, erection drawings, plans, and bills of material using CAD software in accordance with project specifications and equipment requirements.
• Read and interpret equipment specifications, technical documents and design details.
• Coordinate with engineers and senior designers to understand design intent and resolve questions or discrepancies.
• Ensure drawings and documentation comply with company standards, project requirements, and applicable industry guidelines.
• Revise drawings as needed and maintain accurate version control throughout the design process.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure drawings and deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Perform QA/QC reviews to verify drawing accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and issue drawing submittal packages in accordance with project requirements.
• Maintain organized, accurate project files and design records.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.

This role is ideal for an individual with basic CAD knowledge who is eager to develop their skills and build a career in the high-voltage electrical industry. The CAD Drafter will use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create accurate technical drawings, plans, and bills of material in support of engineering and project requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically inclined, self-motivated, and committed to producing high-quality work while continuing to learn and grow.

Duties and Responsibilities:
