Hammond Lumber Company in Bangor, ME is seeking a Drafter & CAD Designer to translate customer design intentions into accurate plans using Soft Plan. You will collaborate with the sales team to meet design deadlines and provide responsive support to customers.

The role emphasizes customer service and coordination with engineers, architects, and contractors throughout design and construction phases. Two years of CAD experience is preferred and Soft Plan knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 years of CAD experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Soft Plan software would be a plus.
• Successful applicant must be able to work with fellow employees in a fast-paced environment.
• Must enjoy dealing with the public.
