Job summary

AIS is seeking an Associate Engineer/Drafter in Leominster, MA to support the Engineering Department with organizing PDM, detailing drawings, creating assemblies, and managing product labeling and testing processes.

You will work closely with engineers to ensure accurate product structures and manufacturing documentation while handling BOMs and data. Proficiency in Excel is required, CAD systems are a plus, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience working with technical documents, BOMs, and data manipulation.
• 1-3 years of experience using SolidWorks and AutoCAD for design and drafting; willingness to learn CAD systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and inputting product BOMs, ensuring production accuracy.
• Execute test orders and review BOM structures before production runs.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs/ECRs).
• Maintain and manage the product labeling system.
• Utilize Microsoft Office (Excel) proficient; AutoCAD and SolidWorks familiarity is a plus.
