Flynn Group of Companies in Kansas City is seeking a Drafter for Architectural Metals and Glazing Systems. You will prepare detailed shop drawings and 3D models, collaborating with originators to resolve issues and ensure installation-ready documents.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' experience in drafting of commercial roofing and/or architectural metal projects greater than $50K.
• Substantive experience in fabrication, installation and logistics.
• Experience reading and understanding construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Transforms initial rough designs into working documents using AutoCAD.
• Collaborates with design originators to resolve discrepancies and create multipurpose drawings.
• Incorporates manufacture standards and Flynn's standards to meet warranty requirements.
• Creates original shop drawings in 3D model, and respective drawings in Revit & AutoCAD.
• Produces 2D drawings using AutoCAD as directed.
• Creates bill of materials for architectural sheet metal and glazing projects.
