Job summary

GISPAN DESIGN in Sherman Oaks is seeking an experienced Drafter and expediter to join our residential and commercial design team. The ideal candidate will draft plans, sections, elevations, and details using AutoCAD and Revit, and help move permits through the city.

You must read and understand architectural and structural drawings, ensure codes are followed, and be punctual, organized, and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of AutoCAD is a must.
• Ability to read and understand both residential and commercial architectural and structural plans.
• Knowledge of local building codes is a plus.
• Must know rendering.
• California residents only.

Responsibilities

• Draft plans, sections, elevations, and details.
• Work with a project manager.

Job Description We are a design firm specializing in Residential & Commercial design, located in Sherman Oaks. We are currently looking for an experienced Drafter and expediter. The ideal candidate is well-versed in AutoCAD/Revit with experience in drafting plans, sections, elevations, details, etc. The ability to read and comprehend architectural and structural drawings is a must.
