Job summary

Martin Sprocket & Gear is seeking a full-time Drafter to generate detailed manufacturing prints and manage ERP BOMs and routings. You will collaborate with shop personnel to ensure specifications are met while adhering to safety protocols in a 1st shift environment.

Associate degree or equivalent experience, plus 3D drafting proficiency (Solid Edge) is required; AutoCAD experience is a plus. Ideal candidates will demonstrate accuracy, reliability, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced

Qualifications

  • Minimum education/experience: Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3D drafting skills: Proficiency in Solid Edge or similar 3D modeling software is required.
  • Supplemental experience in 2D AutoCAD is a plus, but not required.
  • Attention to detail: Strong focus on accuracy and good communication in all tasks.
  • Availability: Full-time, with occasional Saturday overtime as needed, adherence to attendance and company policies.
  • Mechanical knowledge: Familiarity with basic machining practices and materials is a plus, as is general mechanical knowledge.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
  • Reliability and accuracy: Commitment to reliable work with a high standard of accuracy in drawings and specifications.

At Martin Sprocket & Gear, we're dedicated to producing quality mechanical power transmission components, material handling systems, and custom forgings with excellence, and we're looking for skilled Drafters like you!

What You’ll Do

Your Schedule
  • 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
