Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a Drafter for a remote assignment. The incumbent will create and revise part, assembly, and installation drawings using Creo and EPDM Windchill, collaborating with engineers to translate layouts into production-ready drawings.

The contract is 7 months with potential extension; compensation is $55-$60 per hour on a W2 basis. Applicants should be adept with CAD workflows and standard drafting practices to support manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Must have Creo and EPDM Windchill experience.
• Strong knowledge of drafting practices and engineering standards.
• Ability to produce detailed production drawings.

Responsibilities

Description:

• MUST HAVE CREO AND EPDM Windchill/WINDCHILL
• Plans, lays outs, draws, and revises part, assembly, and installation engineering drawings from basic layouts, established references, notes and discussions with engineers, and standard data.
• Utilizes computer-aided design equipment and/or manual tools.
• Completes layout drawings prepared by others in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices or may develop complete major layouts of engineering drawings. Within parameters determines scaling required; inserts necessary reference planes, centering and dimension lines, hidden line interpolations, and sectioning; prepares specifications for parts, assemblies, and installations; prepares complete production detail drawings; contributes design modifications to improve quality of product or facilitate manufacturing operations.
