Job summary

Arcadia Products, LLC is seeking a Drafter in Tucson, AZ to develop architectural drawings for commercial construction. You will collaborate with architects and engineers, visit sites for measurements, and prepare precise CAD drawings and fabrication details for project approval and construction.

The role requires three years of architectural drafting experience, strong communication, and proficiency in AutoCAD, along with basic MS Office skills. On-site work and physical readiness are expected.

Qualifications

• 3 years of architectural drafting experience.
• Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail, prioritization and ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to provide instructions written and orally.
• Required: AutoCAD and basic computer skills with Outlook, Word, Excel

Responsibilities

• Work with architect to ensure that construction project is in accordance with design specifications.
• Analyze building specifications, codes, space to create architectural design.
• Visit construction sites to collect measurements and dimensions as needed.

Summary

Responsible for preparing shop drawings to be used for approval and construction and fabrication drawings for manufacturing.

Requirements & Competencies

Responsible for preparing technical drawings to used in construction plans for various industries. Create technical drawings from designs of architects and engineers. Work from sketches and specifications for homes, commercial buildings and other types of structures.
