Helix Electric is seeking a Drafter to support BIM/VDC modeling for power and building systems. You will interpret diagrams, perform field site visits, and coordinate with VDC Coordinators to align installation methods across disciplines.

This full-time on-site role may be stationed at Manassas, VA or other locations, with emphasis on accuracy, timely delivery, and teamwork. A degree in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering is preferred, with 1–2 years of related experience.

Qualificações

• Proven ability to interpret electrical diagrams and one-line diagrams.
• Strong communication and collaboration with field teams.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Background check/drug screen required.

• Work under the direction of a VDC Coordinator or VDC Manager.
• Collaborate and Coordinate with other disciplines.
• Adhere to VDC project workflow criteria and content standards.
• Leverage VDC software and tools as a methodology to coordinate between disciplines.

Electrical BIM Detailer is responsible for the BIM design of power systems and/or building systems and systems infrastructures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of Autodesk production software (Revit, Navisworks, APL, BIM 360)
• Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering or field experience preferred.
• Dedication to learning, expanding knowledge and continuous improvement.
• Candidates with 1-2 years of experience in Electrical/Power Systems classes and/or internships are preferred.
• Excellent oral, prioritization and written communication skills.
• Problem solving, acceptance of responsibility, and work ethic.
• Motivation to complete tasks on time and on budget.
• Must successfully pass a background/drug screen.
