Job summary

American Equipment Holdings is seeking a Drafter to support fabrication drawings, submittals, and materials planning. The role collaborates with Engineering, Sales, and Project Management to create BOMs and ensure accurate documentation for each project.

On-site duties include timekeeping and strict adherence to ISO QC procedures. The position emphasizes proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and SolidWorks training, with an associates degree preferred but not required, and training opportunities

• Create Bill of Materials using drawings
• Complete the required number of Safety Observations each month
• Follow all ISO Quality Control Procedures
• Review drawings and work of others in the department
• Scan, file, and save all documents pertaining to the job
• Keep accurate time for each job
• Work in a collaborative environment with Engineering, Sales, & Project Management
• Any other responsibilities assigned by the lead draftsmen

We are looking for a Drafter, the primary responsibilities are-

• Produce “for fabrication” drawings
• Produce and submit submittals
• Assist Project Management with Steel Quotes

Additional Training to be provided:

• On the job training pertaining to drafting and design
• Quality management system training (as needed)

Required Skills/Abilities

• Proficient in the use of AutoCad
• SolidWorks training a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Software

Education and Experience

• Associates degree preferred but not required
