Job summary

American Equipment Holdings is seeking a Drafter to produce fabrication drawings, submit submittals, and support project management with steel quotes. The role requires AutoCAD proficiency, MS Office skills, and attention to detail. On-site collaboration with engineering, sales, and PM teams is expected.

We are looking for a Drafter, the primary responsibilities are-

• Produce “for fabrication” drawings
• Produce and submit submittals
• Assist Project Management with Steel Quotes
• Create Bill of Materials using drawings
• Complete the required number of Safety Observations each month
• Follow all ISO Quality Control Procedures
• Review drawings and work of others in the department
• Scan, file, and save all documents pertaining to the job
• Keep accurate time for each job
• Work in a collaborative environment with Engineering, Sales, & Project Management
• Any other responsibilities assigned by the lead draftsmen

Additional Training to be provided:

• On the job training pertaining to drafting and design
• Quality management system training (as needed)

Required Skills/Abilities

• Proficient in the use of AutoCad
• SolidWorks training a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Software

Education and Experience

• Associates degree preferred but not required
