Job summary

System One is seeking a Drafter in Oak Creek, WI to create detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings using SolidWorks. You will develop and maintain BOMs, ensure designs meet standards, and support project execution with manufacturing and installation teams.

The role requires 3+ years in mechanical design or drafting, strong SolidWorks skills, and knowledge of fabrication/welding practices. Onsite work with a 40-hour week is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Drafting or related technical field preferred.
• 3+ years in mechanical design, drafting, or manufacturing environment.
• Advanced proficiency with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical assemblies, fabrication drawings, and welding basics.
• Experience creating detailed drawings and BOMs; familiarity with AWS welding standards preferred.
