Job summary

ASC Process Systems, Inc. is seeking a CAD Designer to prepare 2-D and 3-D drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor. You will generate models, revise drawings, and assemble BOMs within ASC’s design workflow.

Collaboration with mechanical engineers and strict revision control are essential to ensure on-time shipments. The role requires strong communication, 50 WPM typing, and familiarity with MS Office and document management systems.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

• Generates and revises 2-D and 3-D model and drawing files for mechanical designs. This will require use of AutoCad and Autodesk Inventor design software to generate drawings, parts and assemblies.
• Analyzes as-built fabrication drawings to determine if drawing revisions are warranted and complete all changes prior to equipment shipment.
• Follows and processes quality control procedures including proper revision control of drawings.
• Creates bill of material on design drawings and proper documentation to part data in ASC’s in-house software.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers to generate drawings based on engineer models.
• Generate models based on reference models and execute design modifications as required.
• Complete revision updates across multiple designs to implement global production changes.
• Maintain organized files for models and drawings per ASC standards.
