Job summary

  • Associate’s degree in drafting, architecture or related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong proficiency in drafting software (AutoCAD, Revit). Knowledge of SketchUp, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous.
  • Ability to translate client ideas into visual and/or tangible references such as drawings or models.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Job description

Dekker is seeking Drafters to contribute to multi-disciplinary project teams and support the delivery of complex, Federal-sector architecture projects. The role allows the individual a chance to work on technical and sustainable projects. This position offers the opportunity to make firm-wide contributions to projects ranging from, Multifamily Housing, Commercial and/or Education (K-12 & Higher Ed)
