Job summary

Chainalysis is seeking an expert to own DPRK and China attribution end to end. You will map on-chain illicit activity, produce finished intelligence, and represent the firm in external settings.

You will lead collection priorities and guide data requirements across the threat-finance domain. You’ll translate threat patterns into actionable detection guidance for our products and customers, while building AI-enabled automation to scale the team’s work.

Qualifications

• Deep DPRK and/or China crypto threat expertise.
• On-chain tracing experience against DPRK/China targets.
• National-security or threat-finance background in intelligence, sanctions, or investigations.
• Strong writing and communication skills for external audiences.
• Experience building automation with AI to scale work.

Responsibilities

• Own DPRK and China attribution end to end.
• Map on-chain networks of illicit activity and laundering flows.
• Produce finished intelligence, briefs, and advisory notes for customers and partners.
• Represent Chainalysis in conferences, panels, and briefings.
• Define collection priorities and direct data requirements for the domain.
• Translate typologies into detection guidance for products and customers.
• Develop AI-enabled automation to scale analysis and processes.
• Mentor and raise the team's expertise in DPRK/China and money-laundering tradecraft.
