United Therapeutics Corporation seeks a leader to oversee daily DPF site operations at the Christiansburg, VA facility. You will drive GMP compliance, quality, and operational efficiency, aligning Quality, Animal Care, Facilities Maintenance, and Materials Management to meet milestones.

You will manage budgets, review GMP documents, lead safety initiatives, and promote continuous improvement, collaboration, and right‑the‑first‑time execution across cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life science, engineering, or related field with 15+ years of biomedical facility operations experience.
• Master’s degree in life science, engineering, or related field with 13+ years of relevant experience.
• 8+ years of people management experience.
• Experience in GMP pharmaceutical or biotech production facilities and audits.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, documentation, investigations and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all DPF site operations, ensuring regulatory and quality compliance.
• Plan and set department goals aligned with company milestones and strategy.
• Lead quality and compliance projects and approve site validation documents.
• Manage site budget and resources for efficient operations.
• Chair IACUC meetings and drive safety initiatives; collaborate with Quality and Regulatory teams.
