State of Arkansas is seeking a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney to manage a criminal caseload, assist with court preparation, and handle charging decisions, legal research, and the drafting of legal documents. This is a part-time position located in Clinton, Arkansas within the judicial district.
The successful candidate will maintain misdemeanor and felony caseloads, review files from law enforcement, draft briefs and motions, and represent the State in legal proceedings. Arkansas license required.
The Deputy Prosecuting Attorney works under the direction of the Elected Prosecuting Attorney and is responsible for maintaining a criminal case load and handling all matters associated with criminal prosecution, including court preparation, charging decisions, legal research as well as the drafting of legal documents.
This is a part-time position.
