Job summary

Domino Amjet is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support Domino Digital Inkjet Printing products at customer sites across North America. You will travel to sites, perform operation, repair, and preventative maintenance, and provide remote support when needed.

The role requires strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills, plus a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel Monday through Friday. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred or 5 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or at least 5 years of experience.
• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing complex electro-mechanical equipment.
• Inkjet experience is a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Frequent travel Monday-Friday is required.

Responsibilities

Job Title: DP Field Service Engineer

Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 (based on qualifications)

Position Summary

This position is responsible for providing technical support on operation, repair and maintenance of Domino Digital Inkjet Printing products at customer sites.

Main Responsibilities/Essential Functions

• Provide technical support on operation, repair and maintenance of Domino Digital Inkjet Printing products as needed through on-site visits
• Provide telephone/remote technical support for equipment at sites throughout North America
• Initiate proactive action on behalf of the customer, e.g. preventative maintenance
• Provide closed-loop feedback on all escalated actions
• Develop customer relationships that breed loyalty
• Actively promotes the features and benefits of Domino products
• Actively engages other areas of the business when opportunities exist

Other Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate service records in SMax, including customer contacts, machine configuration, service reports, etc
• Ensure 100 % customer satisfaction by having customer signature on all service visit reports
• Provide accurate timesheets each week
• Submit accurate expense reports in a timely fashion each week

What You Need

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or at least 5 years of experience
• At least 3 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing complex electro-mechanical equipment (Inkjet experience a plus)
• Label industry experience is a plus (HP, Durst, Omet, Screen, Xeikon, Canon, Kodak)
• Experience with frequent travel away from home Monday-Friday required, proven “road warrior?
• Valid Driver’s License required

Physical Demands

• Heavy work. Heavy work involves exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Pushing, pulling, stooping, reaching, gross/fine manipulation, driving, kneeling, crawling, and climbing may be required. Physical Demand requirements are more than those for Medium Work.
