Job Responsibilities

1. Start engine, operate controls, and operate machines, equipment, and attachments.
2. Drive equipment to achieve specified results, such as grading terrain or moving earth and rock.
3. Align machine components with reference stakes and guidelines, following hand signals from an assistant.
4. Attach bulldozer blade or other attachments to the tractor using hitches.
5. Perform routine maintenance such as greasing and oiling, and minor repairs.
6. Guide the movement of tractor-drawn machines via signals.

Job Requirements

• Work approximately ten hours per day, five to six days per week outdoors, in Florida heat and rain, near heavy traffic.
• Physical demands include standing, kneeling, walking, lifting, bending, stooping, pulling, and pushing throughout the day.
