OVERVIEW

Archer Western Construction-Snell JV is currently seeking a Dozer Operator for the Atlanta Region, GDOT I-285 / I-20 East Interchange Project in Decatur, GA.

The Dozer Operator's primary function is to operate a Dozer at the site of work to construct, maintain, or repair highway, heavy civil, or building type structures; equipment operators are also expected to assist in other duties around the jobsite as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate a Dozer to complete tasks such as clearing land, trimming backfill, and moving and/or transporting materials such as dirt, rocks, and other types of aggregate.
• Have knowledge of operating procedures related to loading and unloading materials.
• Perform oiling, greasing, servicing, and normal maintenance adjustments on equipment; conduct daily safety and maintenance checks; complete paperwork and other documentation as needed.
• Perform other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 Years Operating Experience Preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; may involve standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting for long periods.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
