Job summary

General Excavating Company is seeking a qualified Dozer and Motor Grader Operator to operate equipment on construction projects and to assist in utilities work as needed. The role requires attention to safety and accuracy in grading, trenching, and pipe work.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading gear, reading grade stakes, and coordinating with crew. Must have 2 years related experience, OSHA knowledge, and a valid license; CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and plans.

Responsibilities

• Operate dozer and motor grader to cut, spread, and finish-grade surfaces as directed.
• Excavate trenches and assist in utilities project alignment.
• Perform daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain safety, coordinate with crew using hand signals, and follow plans and grade stakes.
