Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to operate dozer and motor grader safely and efficiently on construction projects.
• Familiarity with reading grade stakes and using basic measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate dozer to strip, clear, and rough-grade material.
• Operate motor grader to cut, spread, and finish-grade surfaces according to plan elevations.
• Read grade stakes and plans; use GPS/machine control where equipped.
• Assist in loading/unloading equipment and materials; maintain safety and clean work areas.
• Coordinate with crew, follow hand signals, and communicate with foreman for on-site tasks.
