Job summary

Crescent Cleaning Company in Downtown Chicago is seeking a dependable team member for our janitorial and event support crew. The role involves general cleaning, setting up and breaking down events, and assisting with outdoor seasonal work while maintaining a safe, clean environment.

You should be reliable, eager to learn, and able to work independently or with others. The schedule runs Friday through Tuesday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with Wednesday and Thursday off.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to learn new skills, including power washing.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Must be able to communicate over a two-way radio in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform general janitorial and cleaning duties.
• Set up and break down events, including moving chairs, tables, and other equipment.
• Lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs. throughout the workday.
• Assist with snow removal during the winter months.
• Perform power washing duties as needed (training provided—no prior experience required).
• Respond to radio communications in English and follow instructions promptly.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
