Job summary

KBI Biopharma, Inc. is seeking a motivated Research Associate to support downstream process development activities, run experiments, analyze data, and draft technical documents.

You will work with chromatographic steps and QC practices to ensure quality and timely results in a GMP environment. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight client deadlines.

Qualifications

• BS in biotechnology or related field with 0–4 years experience, or MS with 0–2 years.
• Research Associate II requires BS with 2+ years experience or MS degree.
• Experience with downstream process development and chromatography equipment; strong written and communication skills; GMP knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support downstream process development activities including experiments, data analysis, and drafting technical documents.
• Assist in evaluation and implementation of new downstream technologies to improve process efficiency.
• Develop preliminary schedules with material/personnel/equipment requirements for performance guarantees.
• Equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
• General lab organization.
