Job summary

WuXi Biologics in Cranbury, NJ is seeking a Research Associate Co-op for Downstream Process Development to design, execute, and document downstream purification development, tech transfer, and optimization studies. You will collaborate with PD teams and perform bench-scale experiments under supervision to support non-GMP material generation.

Qualifications

• Upper-level undergraduates pursuing BS/BA or recent graduates in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life sciences, Biochemical engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in written and oral communication; strong collaboration skills.
• Experience with protein purification and lab-scale execution is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete all required training (safety, equipment, etc.).
• Perform tasks in compliance with regulations and WuXi Biologics policies.
• Contribute to project workflow from planning to data evaluation and report drafting.
• Design and execute lab-scale experiments for downstream purification development.
• Support process tech transfer and optimization studies.
• Assist with bench-scale purification process development, optimization, and pilot-scale studies.
