Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Downstream Planner to balance needs and resources for raw materials, components, sub-assemblies, and finished products. You will coordinate queue management, ensure product availability, manage customer needs, and support downstream flows to boost manufacturing supply chain performance.

Responsibilities include scheduling, backorder resolution, replenishment backlog management, and regular reporting.

Qualifications

BS degree in supply chain or related field.
3+ years direct experience in Purchasing, preferably as a Production Planner/Scheduler.
Experience in procurement and planning management.
Business understanding of supply chain, value streams, and reporting.
Good communication and collaboration with customers.
Strong influence and convincing skills.
MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills.
SAP experience required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate queue management and/or production scheduling.
Ensure product availability by addressing backorders and shortages.
Manage customer needs via Customer Claim Management Process.
Manage replenishment backlog and rescheduling of manufacturing and purchase orders.
Manage backorder portfolio and shortages to ensure product availability.
Daily actions regarding MRP messages (e.g., SAP MD07).
Support stock discrepancies analysis and adjustments.
Support downstream flows to improve manufacturing supply chain performance.
Generate daily/weekly reports.
